West Edge Opera: “L’incoronazione di Poppea” Preview Performance

West Edge Opera, founded as Berkeley Opera in 1979, invites the Salon97 community to attend the preview performance of their first opera of the season: Claudio Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea! This opera was written in 1642 (yes, 1642!!) and, as we see in many operas, is a story of romantic distraction. Some things don’t change!
This performance is offered free of charge to the Salon97 community and members of the press. A wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with a local opera company!
